Well 2016 has been a whirlwind !Mixed emotions of pride of how we’ve built the salon and it’s reputation with it .A fabulous group of hairdressers and beauty therapists always busy loving life ,then suddenly gravel Hill closes and we unfortunately quiet down just employing two new members of staff .Ever thinking things would pick up we battled through the extremely tough times ,keeping the staff on as I believed in them and our future.October took tough times as suddenly under staffed and struggling to keep up with the very heavy work load and financially and emotionley unable to say no to clients seeing myself and my right arm Ali working more hours than we felt we could handle ,however we did it and this February 2017 saw the arrival of a fabulous hairdresser to our team.Years of experience yes but also so easy to work with making the salon flow once again and helping by little gestures such as helping with the laundry and staying late to sort my hair !Never in a hurry to get home of an evening and happy to help .In March and April Gemma an old friend came to the rescue to help with our super busy nail salon and then just three weeks ago that arrival of the very sincere Kirsty looking for a new challenge with us and take our beauty salon under her wing creating her own relaxed way about the place. We have Leigh still with us after four years with all her lovely regulars becoming friends of us all .Zoe will be back in the summer after her maternity leave .Ali will be qualified this year and already showing tremendous talent with her hair extensions and kerastraight treatments and to this date never failing an exam .We have a wonderful therapist called lucy joining us this summer also not to mention Beth our specialist in anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.This is a bit about us now but I would like to talk about my training, my passion ,our future where it all started but we will leave that for another day. We will be posting tutorials ,hints and tips also .See you all soon Maria .
